"Everyone's voice matters and everyone can make change for the things that are important to them."
Advocacy
I recognise my own privilege and have a drive and desire to utilise this with my own lived experiences to support and amplify the voices of people who aren't at the table. My ultimate goal is to build the bridge so that everyone can have a seat at the table to share their own voice.
Experiences in the community/advocacy space:
Seed Waikato blog contributor and board member (2019 - current)
Waikato Womens' Fund trustee (2020-2023)
Youth advisor for the Wise Group, participating in co-designed workshops with other youth to create a youth facility in Kirikiriroa Hamilto (2021)
Rangatahi Voices Forum, funded by the Waikato Regional Council to ensure youth voices are heard at the Council level (2020 - current)
The Podcast
Kia orana! I’m Rosalie, and you are listening to the Generation Unapologetically Me Podcast.
Generation Unapologetically Me is a place of real and raw youth content from a generation of rangatahi who aren’t afraid to be unapologetically themselves.
