Who is Lehali?

Lehali represented the small village that my nana was from in Ureparapara, Vanuatu.

For most of my life I have written, and this often evolved into songs. The early themes of my music were around identity, understanding yourself and navigating relationships. 

In early 2023 I released my first album ‘Growing Pains’ which is a collection of songs I wrote throughout my highschool years, releasing my music under the artist name Lehali.

Writing music allows me to connect with my feelings, express myself and seek solace in finding myself through the music. My music is created as a way to seek solace, live authentically and ground into who you are - both for me and the listener. 

For me music is a method of storytelling, not just my story but the stories of my ancestors and culture.
