I'M A TEEN: YAY!?

Sorry that I haven’t posted in awhile. I’ve been busy doing a dance and singing exams, band competitions, but most importantly I turned thirteen!!

Every other birthday just felt like the same old thing, but this one made me feel so much older. Being thirteen means that you’re now a teenager. Changing from a kid into a teen is a big step, because you are more responsible for your actions, people think higher of you, and expect big things. That can sometimes put you under a lot of pressure, especially when you have a number of other things to worry about.

As you get older your body and your mind will to change. You start to notice things that weren’t there before, and you and your body will react to things differently. At this age people don’t really know to who they are, and will start a journey to find themselves. We start to explore our sexual origination, and how we fit in with our peers. We slowly find out who we are, and begin to express ourselves.

But growing up isn’t always that confessing. You can start doing cool things that you couldn’t do before, such as watching scary R13 movies and going out to town with your friends, without someone watching over you.

Now that I look back on my life, I see how much I’ve grown, and how many opportunities I’ve had to get me to where I am today. Now I’m about to move on to the next chapter in my life, where I can make big things happen, and get ready for the future.

I can’t wait to share my journey with you!
